Happy 1st Birthday Keaton!!

Happy birthday little man! Jeez this year has flown by. It seriously feels like just yesterday we brought you home from the hospital! You were so tiny! You filled the whole house with yummy brand new baby smell! You are such a good boy! You love to be outside! Any time any door is open you are outside in a flash! You are walking everywhere and climb anything taller than you. You have 8 teeth and are currently breaking in 4 more. You've been a little miserable for the past couple weeks because of them! You are becoming a mama's boy! But you amaze me that you will snuggle up to your dad or uncles and fall right to sleep!

We love you little buddy! And I thank my Heavenly Father every day for sending you to my family.

Laryngitis....

So I woke up yesterday and wanted to die! I couldn't sit up without having to blow my nose! And my throat was on fire! Thankfully, Jason's side job rescheduled, so he took care of the kids and house for me! I seriously sat on the couch most of the day. Jason took the kids with him to his mom's house for a couple hours. It was nice because I got the baby to sleep and got to take a nap and soak in the bath.

Today I 'm going to the Dr to get some antibiotics before this gets any worse! But the funniest thing is, I was telling Kelsi how she is going to her gradparent's house today so I can go see the Dr. She got so excited. She said,"You're going to the Dr and I'm going to have a sister! You have a baby in your belly! Yay!!"

HAHA! Silly girl! She has been saying that a lot lately! Hmm...I'm not sure what to say about that one!!

Mother's Day...

Jason let me sleep in and he made breakfast! It was so delicious! My favorite-and very indulgent-pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream! MMM!!! He also made the kids sausage and eggs. Jason also made me a really cute handmade card/coupon book. It had a few promises of a: massage, date night, hug, or watching the kids, with the best and funniest part:NO MATTER HOW TIRE I AM. Haha! So Jason. Poor guy! He works so hard! And can rarely keep his eyes open past 9! Anyway, we ate and hung out for a bit, then we got ready for church.

Keaton fell asleep on the two minute ride to our chapel. I thought how awesome! I'm finally going to be able to listen to the talks/music for once! Not the case. The youth speaker barely started speaking when the "I need to go potty Mommy!" started. So off we went. It wasn't really that big of a deal, but when we got back to our seat, the baby had woken up. He is such a good baby. He just sat there quietly in his seat for a good 10 minutes before making the "I wanna get up" squawk! The primary kids got up to sing "Mother I Love You" of course! It was so fun to see Kelsi up there with her Sunbeam class for the first time. Then the ward handed out truffles to all the mothers. I'm not a fan of those. But its all good!

After church we headed Jason made lunch for everyone and we tried to take a nap together. I think I got about 20 minutes. I got up and took the boys in my room. After about an hour, we headed over to my Uncle's house for dinner. Kyler fell asleep on the ride over, which is always a disaster when he wakes up. He woke up fine, but when we got inside the house, he freaked out and wanted to be held. I got him calmed down enough to see the other kids were playing outside. He didn't stay out more than 10 minutes and he was back in the house crying and coughing. He didn't feel warm but he started saying his ear hurt. So I looked inside and couldn't feel anything. But I felt behind his ear and there seemed to be a little lump. With all the mama's there they helped me conclude that he probably had an ear infection. My aunt gave him some children's Advil. About 10 minutes later, he was up running around, playing with the kids and eating whatever was in site! I was sure glad he was feeling better. We played a few games then headed back to my mom's house so she could open her gifts from us.

My dad got her a necklace and earring set she picked out. I got her a 1 lb box of milk chocolates from See's candy! So yummy! It was a nice day and Jason also surprised me and had some beautiful yellow roses waiting for me at my parent's house.(Thanks Dad!) In Jason's defense, he tried to get me my new phone. We called about 10 stores Saturday and they were all sold out of the one I wanted! If I don't get it this week, I'm probably going to order it online! Happy Mother's Day to all the mother's out there! And I'm especially grateful for my mom and grandma! They are always there for me and teach me so much! I love you both so much!!!

Easter!

Before I forget! Easter seemed like a week long event. We had our ward Easter breakfast and egg hunt the Saturday before Easter. Then the day before Easter we had a family picnic where the kids had a blast searching for eggs again with their cousins. (All the pics I took there are on my mom's camera..imaloser!) We had lots of yummy food and it was so fun helping the littlest of the kids find treasures! Kelsi and Kyler both ended up finding $ in their Easter eggs! Kelsi has made me promise to take her to get a slurpee! It really was a bummer because Jason had to work his first Saturday that day. We sure missed him. After the egg hunt we were just kind of hanging out at the park when the sky got dark and all of a sudden a huge storm blew in! It was crazy! Everyone ran around like crazy and had the cars/trucks loaded to go in like 2 minutes! Kenzie and I dropped off Keaton with my mom and we took Kyler to Target with us. I had to get a few extra things for the kids baskets!

EASTER!!!

I was really stressed about me sharing time because it was the Easter lesson. So I was late getting ready for church, so Jason took all 3 kids so I could finish getting ready quicker. Which is why, yet again, imaloser! :( I only got a pic of Kyler in his Sunday clothes and not Kelsi or Keaton. Ok and my camera sucks! But anyway..this pic totally makes me laugh! We had taken 5 or 6 of just him. Then he decided to that he wanted to take some with his basket. So he picks it up and starts posing with it. And this one is my absolute favorite! I asked him, "Kyler, what are you doing?" He said,"Looking at my basket mommy!" Like duh woman! Haha!

It was a nice day. We went to my parent's house for dinner. Very yummy! It was a good time! And with Jason's new work schedule, it was nice to not have to worry about leaving before 8. We could hang out and catch up with everyone! Love it!
