If I Said My Heart Was Beating Loud....

Saturday night I went to the Britney Spears concert with my sis Kenzie, my friend Becky and Jordan's girlfriend Christy. I had a seriously awesome night!! Totally much needed girls night out!! We went to Olive Garden for dinner. It was so nice being able to eat a meal uninterrupted and not having to get up or clean up spilled juice! Haha! Anyway, seriously though, you forget how crazy people are down on the strip. After we parked, literally the first lady we see has nothing but little stars on that barely covered her nipples! And that really was just the beginning! These women are crazy! Wearing the tightest, shortest things they could find! And not all of them had the figure for it. And I'm all for extremely high shoes! But some of these girls looked as if they were in some serious pain!!

Nick Minaj opened for Britney. And since none of us were really fans of hers, we took our time getting there and arrived when she was already on stage. This girl definitely has a strange outlook on the world! She had crazy dancers with really scary masks on! And girls giving girls lap dances. Not to mention she is a rapper, certainly not my taste of music. Although, she did have a few songs that she did a colaberation with other artists that were catchy songs that I knew.

After she was done with a long set list, it was after 9. A sign came on the big screen that said Britney will be on in 45 minutes!!! Say what!!

That's right folks! She didn't come on until around 10!! But she was worth the wait. She did a lot of her new songs and a lot of her old ones! There were lots of cool dance numbers and special affects. She even had some fireworks and very awesome acrobatic men that put on a great show! I walked away an even bigger Britney fan!

And I had a great night with all the ladies!! We will surely be getting together again very soon!!

And I learned that I'm getting very old! ;) Getting home after midnight sure had me dragging fir the rest of the next day!

Thank you to my husband for watching the kids while I had a much needed break! I love you babe!

Yup, It's Summer!

My Aunt called me a couple days ago and said since her hubby and 2 of 4 kids were going to be out of town for a week, we should hang out. She was trying to plan out activities to keep her occupied to make the time pass. So made a plan to meet at my grandma's house to let the kids play and have lunch. Other than it being super hot outside we had a blast. But slurpees, popsicles and the sprinklers cured all! It was a fun day! Kelsi is having a cousin sleepover at Grandma Great's house! She was so excited she kept asking if it was time for me to leave yet! :)

Grandma gave Kyler a much needed haircut! My handsome boy! As you can see from the pic above...it was much needed! Everytime we cut his hair I swear he looks so big! I can't believe he's going to be 3 this year! Love him! Thanks Stacey, Grandma and Kenzie for a fun day! Love you!

Answered Prayers

So, since October we have been dealing with our credit union being bought out, then our loans being transferred to another institution. We've been one of the many small business owners affected by the economy. And by October we had finally gone through our savings trying to keep our business afloat. Filling out 3 sets of modification forms and playing the stressful waiting game. So we were relieved when our loan officer got in contact with us with some really good news! Without going too much into it he basically said we were going to have a modification that will consolidate our debt into one lump sum. And lowering our payment!! I am most excited that we will be able to have a savings again! And next year we should be able to pay both our vehicles off! I'm so thankful and relieved!

On another note, Jason took some time off this weekend and had 4 days off. Unfortunately between the stress we've been under and him working in the smoke all day, he woke up sick with a cold he said he'd been fighting back. After a day (yesterday) of him being real grumpy, as soon as I woke up today and heard he wasn't feeling any better I called our family Dr. We made it a family trip since it was in Henderson. The kids were pretty good in the waiting room but they started getting bored so we went outside and played on the grass until Jason was done. The Dr. said he had an inner ear and sinus infection. Poor guy! After that we went to Panera bread or lunch! We all grubbed!! So yummy!! After that we headed to Discount Tire.

----A little back story. One morning last week, when Jason was leaving for work he noticed one of my tires was almost all the way flat. He was running late and I didn't have anywhere to go that day, so he just aired it back up when he got home. The next morning it was low again. So again he aired it up and told me to take it in to Discount and have them look at it. So I did. I pulled up and explained to the guy what had been going on. He kind of looked at me like I was a dumb girl and told me that because of the heat the tires sometimes do that.. So I was a
little embarrassed, because no matter what I said he just had a reason for why I was wrong. So I left and called Jason and told him what he said. So fast forward to Sunday when we have everyone in my truck and ready to go to church and I look over and the dang tire was flat
again! I was so mad!! We would have been onetime for church too. So back to today, Jason gets out and they immediately pull us into a stall
and take the tire off and put it in the water machine thingy- and sure enough! A bunch of dang holes! You know my big mouth couldn't wait to
tell them how that big guy looked at me like I was a dumb girl and honestly I was so mad because I have precious cargo!!! I could do
nothing but imagine something bad happening. Anyway, long boring story, they fixed it.

After that we went to Walgreens to get Jason's antibiotic, then we headed home. We just hung out. We waited until the sun went down and went out back to grill up some steaks! The kids played in the dirt, on the trampoline and on the swing! It was a long on the go day! And everyone but me ofcourse, were in bed by 9! I love fun filled family days like these!! :)

Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! Especially my own Father! I love you so much! You are so good to my little family! And you're the best Papa to my kids! And ofcourse I want to tell my hubbyhow grateful I am for all he does for us! He is the best provider and a wonderful father to our children! Just today I was watching you play with the kids, and it truly brought tears to my eyes to watch you interact with them! I love you!

Ok! Now the fun stuff!! Presents duh!! :) Well presents and party time!! My mom decided we needed to do something special for our husbands and fathers! We picked out some cute, funky decorations for our table. And planned out a yummy dinner of the men's requested Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches! OMGosh they were delicious!! We also made these really cute paper covered cans with some fun surprises inside! It was such a fun night! And I think we had just as much fun picking out all the decorations and presents! We celebrated Saturday night so the kids could swim.

So tonight we went to Jason's parents house to give Larry his gift from us! Everyone had a good laugh at the card we picked out. It said something to the effect of "You helped mold me into the man I am.. And something like we have to blame someone!" We stayed for a while to visit. After that we just came home and straightened up the house. Pretty boring Sunday! But I did get to take a nap today with my boys! It was real nice!

A Little Date...

So Jason has been bugging the heck out of me for the past few months that we need to take advantage of our insurance and get our eyes checked. So last week I was cleaning out the office and I came across our provider book. I stopped what I was doing and started flipping through the pages. Unfortunately, all the Dr.'s everyone recommended to us weren't on our list. So I just picked one as close to our favorite babysitter(Grandma duh!). We dropped the kids off and headed to our appointment. It was pretty neat! I don't think I had had my eyes checked since elementary school. The only part I didn't like was that they had to dilate our eyes for an extensive look. That was so crazy! I couldn't even see anything on my cellphone. And then afterwards we walked around the grocery store. Jason was cracking me up! He wore those goofy plastic glasses they give you, all around the store! He even would hold onto my shoulder for the added effect ! It was pretty funny watching everyone look at him. All in all the apt was great. And we both have really good vision! It was a fun afternoon to be alone, even if it was at the optometrist!

After the apt we headed back to my mom's house. We hung out a bit until Kenzie got home from school. Her Friend Aaron came over and we took the kids swimming. Jason and my Dad made dinner. Taco night!!! So yummy! It was a good day! We stayed and watched The Bachelorette and then headed home. It was a pretty late night. But the boys fell asleep on the ride home. Fun day!

A Little Recap!!

Kelsi had a mini preschool graduation last week. It was so cute. They sang a few songs they had learned and got a cute little certificate. I only got like 1 good picture because right before it was about to start I smelled the stink of a poopy diaper! UGH! And I am like phobic of diaper rash..I don't think any of my 3 have really ever had a major one..anyway..I told Kelsi to sit and save our seats!(My friend Amber was sitting in the next row over, so I didn't leave her alone people!)I ran out to my car and changed the baby in lightening speed! Sanitized my hands and came back to find these smelly people in my seats and Kelsi sitting with her friend Sam! :( I was SOOOO MAD!!! I had to sit 3 rows back from where I originally sat. Oh well. After I called Jason and ranted to him about how pissed I was I realized it wasn't something I could control. So I let it go! (Isn't it obvious in this post??) :) And since Jason couldn't take off work, I was alone with all three kids, so that is also my excuse for not having Kelsi take a pic with Miss Heather.. Oh well!!

Jason's work schedule has changed. He is now home 3 days and works 4. Let's just say, we're ALL adjusting to the change. But all in all, we're excited that we'll be able to take some adventures this summer with the added day off. And well deserved! We are all in need of a break from reality.

Jason's work also hosted a BBQ for all the employess and their families. It was a lot of fun! They had TONS of food and treats. And they had it at a park, which the kids loved! They even had a bounce house!

Earlier that day, we were at church. I forgot my wallet in the truck so during 2nd hour, I walked out with the baby to get it. I didn't see a rock on the pavement, and I slipped on it and totally fell to the ground with the baby in my arms and twisted my left ankle. I was so embarrassed, but thankfully no one was outside. Poor Keaton though, he hit his head on the ground . He cried for literally a second. And he didn't even have a bump! Me on the other hand... :( I was fine really during the day. And after church I went VT. After we were done visiting one of our sisters, when I got up from how I was sitting on the couch, my foot almost gave out. I had to limp out of the house. When I got home the pain became so unbearable! I was really nervous. I took some extra strength Tylenol and tried to ice it. I decided we would still go to the BBQ since the kids were all ready and excited. On the way there I almost threw up because it hurt so bad. I honestly thought I broke my ankle! I was so upset with myself for getting hurt in such a dumb way! But I was only hobbling for about a day or so. Thankfully it healed quick!

For Memorial Day we went to my parent's house for a heated swim/BBQ. It was so fun! Lots of family and friends and of course great food! And Jason got to show off his mad BBQ-ing skills...delicious marinated tri-tip steaks?? I think that's what it was called. :) Whatever it was, it was so dang good!

So for Mother's Day, I got an iPhone 4,the white one. It is beautiful! Let me just tell you. I.AM.IN.LOVE! It is seriously the most awesome thing ever!! My kids love it too! It honestly amazes me that a 2 and 3 year old can unlock it and play any game the want. Little smarties I tell you! Its also a lifesaver with the maps app and ibooks! I can read again and don't have to worry about little fingers ripping the pages or pulling out my bookmark. Its so awesome!

Well not much else going on. Summer is here! Its supposed to be like 98 next week..days like those, I wish I lived next door to my mom! :)
